Board of Directors
Members of the Club's Board of Directors are elected at
the annual Club Election, ordinarily held at the last regular club meeting
in September each year. Three directors are elected each year (from a slate
of six candidates) to serve three-year terms. The newly elected directors
officially take office on July 1 of the following year; however, pursuant to
a 2008 Club Bylaws amendment, newly elected board members are encouraged to
attend board meetings and have voting rights before officially taking
office. The Club Bylaws also specify that the immediate Past President, Club
Treasurer, Club Secretary and Sergeant-at-Arms are automatically voting members of the Board.

The board's regularly scheduled meetings
are held at 7 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month in the second floor
meeting room at the HyVee store on Nifong Blvd. All club members are
welcome and invited to attend board meetings – attendance counts as a
makeup.
