As the first Rotary Club in Columbia, the Columbia Rotary Club has sponsored the establishment of four other Columbia clubs as well as a Rotaract Club, which is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Each new club except the most recent has in turn participated in sponsoring later clubs.

The clubs are listed in order of formation date, except that Rotaract was formed before the Sunrise Southwest Club. Links to the other clubs' web sites also are provided.

The Rotary Club of Columbia-Northwest meets at noon Tuesdays at Peachtree Catering and Banquet Center, 120 E. Nifong Blvd. The club was chartered April 24, 1970.
