Don Laird receives award from Metro Rotary - June 3, 2009

Long-time club member Don Laird, President of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, is shown below receiving a Distinguished Service Award on June 3, 2009 from Columbia-Metro Rotary Club President Norm Benedict. The Metro Club presents the award, not necessarily annually, to a community member  who "lives the Rotary mantra - Service Above Self." Past recipients have included Police Officer Shelley Jones, Mike Hood, Steve Sapp, Darwin Hindman, Judge Christine Carpenter and Detective Brad Nelson.
