Rainbow House playground equipment project

The Columbia Rotary Club obtained Rotary Foundation funds
through a District 6080 Simplified Grant to purchase playground
equipment for younger children at Columbia's Rainbow House. The project
was organized by the club's Community Projects Committee, chaired by
Marty Walker.
In October 2008, after the equipment arrived and had been
set up, a group of club members contributed their time to do cleanup and
landscaping work in the playground area. Pictured here taking a break
from their labors, are (from left) club members Kent Kirkwood, Jim
Ollar, Darlene Johnson and Chris Stevens.
